The Billy Letters was a project of Bill Geerhart circa 1998. Geerhart posed as an 8 year-old boy supposedly pondering the life of an elementary school dropout. Geerhart sent letters to several influential people and included their responses (and in some cases a retrospective letter 10 years later). Pen pals include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Larry Flynt, Clarence Thomas, Dick Cheney, and a handful of serial killers.

As the title implies, here is a list of the 6 worst popes ever. The article is written with an eye towards the amusing but is fairly accurate based on what I already knew about some of them. #2 and #1 really are the best. But don’t skip over the others.

I don’t know about you guys, but in the years I spent playing Mortal Kombat I saw only a few of the fatalities. And I also stopped playing at 2 or 3, so there are many characters I’ve never even seen at all. Thankfully someone decided to record all the possible fatalities from every Mortal Kombat made. Some are crazy, some are brutal, and some are just plain funny. Around #160 there’s a character who rips off his opponents arms and beats him with them. So yeah, if you have 6 minutes give it a whirl.

This is actually really cool… it’s a holographic display that can be walked around and viewed regardless of distance and viewing angle. Be sure not to miss the really snotty comments where everyone bitches about how it’s useless because they can’t touch it.

I’m not sure how I feel about new NIN after some of the historic post-Fragile drought, but there’s more new NIN in the form of “discipline,” a single that’s currently downloadable if you follow the top link. Check out more info on the NIN hotline.

Found a site that gathered some of the best GTA videos on the web. Most of them are pretty good, but I would have to say my favorites are the plane coincidence and the 100 car explosions. It’s certainly a good way to kill 15 or 20 minutes.
