Effective Prayer
Friday, May 22nd, 2009Here is a website with a surprising amount of research into and diagrams demonstrating the most effective ways to pray to come into spiritual contact with your deity. You can all thank me later when you reach enlightenment.

Sunday, May 17th, 2009Wolfram Alpha went live a few days ago, and really, I should not be the first one blogging about this here. Wolfram Alpha is a “computational knowledge engine,” that, as far as I can tell, is too smart for me to use. I also can’t tell just how much this is a front end for Mathematica. Unfortunately it crashed my browser yesterday and was overloaded, but seems much better today. My main dislike is that the responses are rendered as image files, which would be annoying if I did anything intelligent enough to actually require such resources.
Try out some of the suggested examples to get a better idea of what this beast can do.
Edit: Wolfram Beta is a bit more up my alley.
