A Swedish fellow at work sent around some links regarding a particular bit of holiday festivities that I had never heard about. But first, some teaser quotes:

In yet another addition to the nerdy, nerdy coolness of dinosaurs, some of the feathered ones appear to have been venomous.

Sounds as though there has been some manner of breakthrough at the Copenhagen climate conference. This is pretty good news since all the reports up to now have been very, very dismal.

Neglected to post this when I first got ahold of it, it’s a match from Oct.10th.

The scoring system is difficult to decipher, so: he scores a yuko (tiebreaker point) at :04 for throwing me on my side. I score one at 1:08 for the same. I get another at 1:31 and am ahead. But then he gets an ippon (winning point) at 2:44 for throwing me in such a way as to get me flat on my back. He actually secures a nice hold down, but it didn’t matter as he had won instantly. Neither of us scored anything on the ground via either hold downs or submissions.
