Assassins

Through the magic of airport, hotel, and mall security cams we get a video of a team of 11 (probably) professional assassins tailing and murdering a Hamas official. The video’s a little long, but it’s some pretty crazy stuff… multiple teams of lookouts, distractions, changing disguises in the elevator… basically everything I’d ever dismissed as being crap made up for the movies is apparently not.

Supposedly the monster existed because of a memory leak that would crash the game otherwise? Apparently even if you used this trick, you would respawn at the start of the hill eventually.

This is a cool article/pictures of a supposed comet collision at “hypervelocity,” a word which again reminds me, in conjunction with other recent posts, of Calvin’s excellent suggestion of renaming the Big Bang the “Horrendous Space Kablooie.” It doesn’t mention any proposals to change “hypervelocity” to “insane unthinkable instant death speed” but it makes it sound like the discovery was something of a “wtf” moment for astronomers.
